From this quote I thought of many things. I thouht of hope at first. And how no matter what happens in life there's always hope and we must keep pressing onward no matter what. I think this applies to the book in the sense that even though Ada lost Inman in the end, she still had to move on because she still had their child to birth, raise, and be a mother to.
